I’ve had to create some pretty unbelievable PowerPoint presentations. Unbelievable to me because the content that was required didn’t make sense to me. And as the person creating the final document, if it didn’t make sense to me, I wondered, how would it make sense to anyone else?
PowerPoint can be like the old-style superheroes, powerful if used for good, yet characteristically flawed and apt to turn evil if not held in check.
That’s why I like this slideshow. Alexei Kapterev does a nice job of capturing the dichotomy between PowerPoint’s usefulness and its dysfunction.
When my wife and I can sit on the couch and chuckle looking at a slideshow, it’s worth sharing.
Think of this before you begin your quest to present with PowerPoint.
